Heel pain is more prevalent among those who use their feet constantly with activities like walking, running or climbing. And with women it is more common with those who wear high-heeled shoes. Although the causes for heel pain may vary from person to person, only proper diagnosis can help identify the root cause of the problem and thus proper treatment can be made accordingly. Heel pain which is most common among all is the plantar fasciitis which is nothing but the inflammation of the plantar fascia which actually is a connective tissue located at the arch of the foot.
The causes of heel pain, as said above, can be varied but one most common cause which might just affect anyone to have heel pain is wearing an ill-fitting shoes. And this would mostly be due to the fact of buying and using those cheap shoes which you might have brought elsewhere. To avoid such situations try to buy good quality shoe wear every time.
Wearing high heels is another reason why you get heel pain and most commonly affects the women than men and this can be easily avoided by not wearing those very high heeled shoes for aesthetic reasons. This will surely have a very positive impact on your heel pain if you already are suffering from it.
Being overweight is another reason why many suffer from heel pain. Hence, naturally try to reduce some weight which is obviously good for your overall health. Exercise and eat healthy to make it easy for you. Whatever you do to your heel, even it may be exercise, don’t overdo it.
